Ryan Burkholder

 Lead Pastor

Ryan joined Millport Mennonite Church as lead pastor in May 2025. Before that, Ryan had 20 years of youth ministry experience. He was an associate pastor since 2020 at Ephrata Church of the Brethren. Ryan earned his degree through the ACTS program at Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center. Ryan and his wife Emily have four children and believe that God wants to do mighty and amazing things in this community. They are excited to join in with what God is doing at Millport Mennonite Church and look forward to the vision of what is next. Ryan's hobbies include fishing, riding motorcycle, woodworking, and playing with his kids. Emily is a kindergarten teacher for the Ephrata area school district. She enjoys sewing, gardening, baking and many other things.

Ben Herr

Discipleship

Ben gives oversight to the Christian education and discipleship programs. Ben has been attending Millport since 1995 and has been married to his wife, Mim, a preschool teacher, since 1989. They have four children: two sons by birth and two daughters by adoption. They also have two grandchildren that they can never get enough of! Ben attended Rosedale Bible College, Cedarville University, the University of Dayton, and Wright State University, and has worked as a psychologist at Milton Hershey School since 2005. His hobbies include exercise and sports, reading, and podcasts.

Don Beachy

Nurture and Care

Don gives oversight to those involved in people care. The deaconesses and visitation team are a vital part of this ministry. When away from church, his day job in new-homes sales also affords many opportunities to relate to a broad spectrum of God’s children. He is married to Doris and they have three adult children and three grandchildren. Music has been and continues to be an important part of their lives. Don enjoys being in and observing the natural world around us. His hobbies include singing in a men’s choir, playing basketball, bicycling and sports of all sorts. 

Douglas Garrett

Stewardship

Doug provides oversight for church finances, stewardship, and facilities. He is happily and productively retired from a career in senior living services. Doug enjoys many volunteer opportunities, including serving with Mennonite Disaster Service and at Landis Homes (Lititz, PA). Diane is active as a part-time employee and volunteer at a local therapeutic horseback riding program. She also enjoys serving at Landis Homes as a volunteer. They have three grown offspring and one grandchild. Doug enjoys bicycling, reading, and cooking.

Darin Beachy

Worship

Darin gives oversight to the corporate worship service and audio/video technology. He and his wife Hannah have four children. Darin attended Rosedale Bible
College, Millersville University, and Arizona State University. He now teaches at Veritas Academy. When not teaching or helping with ministry at Millport, Darin enjoys playing games of all kinds, spending time with family, playing basketball and Ultimate Frisbee, and reading books of all kinds.

Leandro Dueck

Youth & Young Adult

Leandro gives oversight to Jr. Youth, Youth and Young Adult age groups. He and his wife Kay enjoy interacting with young people and nurturing their relationships with each other and God. Leandro works full-time at PaulB as their project coordinator. He and his wife have four children, and his hobbies include woodworking, volleyball, and disc golf.
